Manuscript Transcription Services:

Whatever your manuscript transcription services needs are, PTS is here to assist you. We offer transcription of memoirs and interviews quickly, professionally and at an affordable price.

We can handle large volumes of dissertation interviews in a timely manner, while maintaining extremely high quality. We would be happy to provide references from former clients to give you even more confidence in trusting us with your project.

We offer a per audio minute pricing structure, so you know in advance exactly how much you will pay. Our rates for recorded interviews or dictation is $1.75 per audio minute for standard turnaround time of approximately two days and $2.00 per audio minute for rush (24 hours). There are limitations on what we can reasonably do within 24 hours, so please keep this in mind. For your convenience, we accept checks, credit cards, PayPal and we can even bill your university or government agency.

We can also work from your handwritten or roughly typed manuscript.  You will need to mail that to us at Pioneer Transcription Services, P.O. Box 853, Penn Valley, CA  95946.  Please send us an email to let us know you have sent it and we will be able to communicate with you.  We will do a per page rate for handwritten manuscripts of $5.00 per double spaced page.  Sometimes it is a good idea to send us a scanned PDF sample of your handwriting to make sure we will be able to read it, although we do not typically have any problems with this.  

We are very proud of our A plus rating with the Better Business Bureau.  All of our typists are based in the United States and constantly undergo rigorous quality control checks.  We never send our projects overseas as some companies do in order to save money.  We believe native English speakers can do the very best job on your transcripts. We feel we have been able to hire some of the very best staff we possibly can which is one of our highest goals.  Our other goal is satisfied customers, which we are always striving to meet this goal.
